When creating a new product a lot of people and companies might start off by compiling a list of the best features of existing material, taking the parts they need and rearranging them into a 'new' solution. But when Ink, based in London, UK, set about creating an internet-based check-in system it did not go along this route, believing that the best way to create winning new products is through original thinking. In this way it has carefully considered the entire check-in process to create a product that can be rapidly moulded and integrated with other systems, and online processes.
