Incidence, clinical presentation and imaging findings of cavernous malformations of the CNSA twenty-year experience

Study question The aim of this study was to document the characteristics of cavernous malformations (CM) of the central nervous system in the catchment area of the University Hospital of Bern. Summary answer The study shows a relatively high frequency of cavernous malformations, including multiple lesions in a single individual and the familial form, in the catchment area of our institution, compared to medical literature.
