Downward price pressure across all graphic paper sectors

A combination of weak demand and ready availability of supply led to erosion in fine paper prices in continental Europe of between 1-2% in recent weeks. Domestic levels for woodfree papers remained stable when compared with the end of last year but the weak state of the market and the fact that levels are running above those in other key European markets is expected to have a knock-on effect for UK prices over coming weeks.
