Some complexes organothin (IV) chloride with salicyaldehyde thiosemicarbazonea

A few di-and triorganotin(IV) derivatives of theSchiff base (H@L) derived from salicylaldehyde andtiosemicarbazide have been synthesised by the reaction of thecorresponding di-and triorganotin(IV) chlorides with the sodiumsalt of salicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone in the desired molarratios. These derivatives have been characterised by elementalanalyses, molecular weights, conductivity measurements, IR andNMR (1H, 13C and 119SN) spectral studies.
