摘要

A series of copper(II) complexes with ligands derived from the Schiff base reaction of 1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-amino-5-pyrazolone with 4-hydroxysalicylaldehyde (L(1)H), 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde (L(2)H) and 2-hydroxynaphtaldehyde (L(3)H) have been prepared. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, infrared and electronic spectral data. Molar conductivities of the complexes at room temperature were measured. The conductivity values of the L(1)H and L(2)H complexes indicate weak electrolyte behaviour, whereas the L(3)H complex is a non-electrolyte. The thermal decomposition of the complexes has been studied by thermogravimetry and differential thermal analyses. These studies show that each copper compound decomposes to the metal halide and finally the metal oxide. [References: 23]
