VIJAY G. Joshi has joined Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) as Director (Refinery). A company press release said that Joshi will be the second functional director on MRPL board. Prior to this appointment, Joshi was Group General Manager (projects In-charge) of MRPL. It said that the 58-year-old Joshi brings to the table 36 years of experience in petroleum refining industry. Joshi hails from Bijapur district of Karnataka, and is a product of National Institute of Technology-Kamataka in Mangalore. He got his postgraduate degree from NT Mumbai in Metallurgical Engineering in 1977.
