Avery Dennison's new ThinStream technology allows labels on thick liners down to 12 microns, to be die cut with no risk of die strikes. The company has licensed the patented technology to Gallus which has formed a new Gallus Cold Die business unit to promote the new system. In the Thin-Stream process, the face stock is separated from the liner before die-cutting.
