DR. Ashwani Kumar, Honourable Union Minister of State for Planning, Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India visited Pune-based Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR- NCL), and Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) on Wednesday, the June 6, 2012. The visit of Dr. Ashwani Kumar has significance as the Indian Government is accelerating R&D in sustainable and alternate energy sector, high performance computing (HPC), infrastructure development and technology proliferation.
