Tom Kimmerer: How did you get involved in this growing movement? Anthony Cortese: I grew up in the North End of Boston. We were right on the shore of Boston Harbor, and, as a kid, I couldn't swim in Boston Harbor after age 8. The level of air pollution, the soot everywhere, was enormous. It made me upset. I was covered with soot all the time. Tom: When did you first start thinking about Sustainability?
