Anderson Paint

When Daryl Campbell was 18, he started working in a hardware store in the small town of Williamston, South Carolina (population around 4,000). Like all hardware stores, it sold a little bit of paint and a little bit of everything else. Campbell was in charge of the paint, and when he heard that a Benjamin Moore dealer had gone out of business in nearby Anderson, he decided it made good sense to run ads in the Anderson newspaper letting people know there was paint to be found in Williamston.
