摘要

Any number of things are likely to occur the day after a typical, contemporary North American teenager graduates from high school. Perhaps they nurse an illegally obtained hangover. Perhaps they embark on a celebratory lake getaway. Perhaps they lunge-watch Breaking Bad. In 1997, however, the day after he graduated from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Andrew Wiebe started doing something that has become increasingly rare: He started paying rent to his parents.
