摘要

Schoolmasters of the Institute of Engineering Technology of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Czech University of Technology in Prague endeavour to show to students the necessity of designing quite new and not only technically revolutionary constructions of engineering products at present but constructions meeting also challenging manufacturing and economic points of view following from concrete conditions of particular manufacturer. Therefore also for a designer it is necessary to know technological possibilities of the present manufacturing base but also the trends of its development. They are very closely connected with development of computer technique and software equipment at present. In this contribution the authors endeavour to describe the education of young specialists at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Czech University of Technology in Prague where PAM-CAST/Simulor and NovaFlow&Solid simulating softwares were already included in teaching and they endeavour to get over this experience with this teaching not only to other universities but also to foundries.
