摘要

The synthesis and characterisation of head to tailregioregular poly(3-pentoxythiophene), poly(3-cyclohexylthiophene) and three mixed alkoxy/cyclohexyl 3-substituted thiophene copolymers with a head to tail arrangementof adjacent rings is presented together with a comparative study oftheir photoluminescent properties. Photoluminescence studies insolution suggest a progressive decrease of luminescence with anincrease in pentoxy/cyclohexyl ratio in the polymers produced.
