ArcelorMittal and SAIL JV to Set Up Automotive Steel Manufacturing Facility in India

World's leading steel producer ArcelorMittal and Steel Authority of India (SAIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Moll) on 22 May to set up an automotive steel plant under a joint venture (JV) arrangement in India. "In the coming months, a working group with representatives from both companies will work on evaluating a structure for the proposed JV and carry out feasibility studies as part of a comprehensive due diligence process," a joint press release said.
