Despite the looming threat of a double-drip recession, the US and UK home building communities have shown slight signs of improvement recently - and it's a welcome reprieve from the months of doom and gloom.In the US, the National Association of Home Builders recently reported that the confidence by those working in the sector has improved for the fourth month in a row. David Crowe, the chief economist at the association, explains that this is primarily down to builders "seeing greater interest among potential buyers as employment and consumer confidence slowly improve in a growing number of markets".
