For a short month, February was absolutely jam-packed with events, seminars and exhibitions, taking place all across the world. From New York and London Fashion Weeks to the inimitable Surface Design Show in London, and Cevisama in Spain, the creative industries were all out in force, previewing designs we'll be lusting after.In this issue, we've done our best to concisely bring readers the latest from this month's key events, including the aforementioned Surface Design Show and Cevisama. New technology, designs and innovative features can be viewed in the comprehensive events section, which starts on page 10. In addition, I have rounded up the trends that I identified at Heimtextil, the leading European destination for fabrics for all types of use - from fashion, to floorcoverings, wallcoverings and more - on page 16.
