Learning Curves: Less is more when it comes to tillage for Illinois farmers Ron and Deb Moore

Deb and Ron Moore closed trie books on their college careers over three decades ago. But the Roseville, Illinois, farmers are lifelong students who welcome real-life learning curves. Deb was an elementary education major at Western Illinois Universityin Macomb when she met Ron through mutual friends. He was studying business administration and economics at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. During his final year, he reversed course. "The more I learned about what I'd be doing as a CPA or accountant, the more I knew F wouldn't like it," Ron says. "I realized I wanted to go back to the farm."
