摘要

We propose a model for metal resistance to plastic deformation in a wide temperature and strain-rate range, wherein dislocation sliding within grains is the main deformation mechanism. The model makes it possible to take into account the effect of the loading history, which is related to the strain-rate epsilon_i time dependence, by specifying the parameters of thermally activated micro-mechanisms, by which dislocations overcome barriers, and by rearrangement of the dislocation structure in dynamic polygonization and recrystallization processes.
