OFCTGMB needs some overhaulin' suggest consultants

The Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board is in need of an overhauling. That was the conclusion of more than 30 recommendations resulting from a governance review of the board conducted this past fall by Deloitte. The OFCTGMB, in a bid to improve its strategic position and governance structure, requested the internal review last summer. Deloitte was successful in the tender bidding and gained input into the report by conducting interviews and meetings with both farmers and board members.
