This intensified effort on the area in Denmark during the last 15 years can today be read from the figures. The total CO{sub}2 emission has not decreased importantly but is rather stagnating (if we take the method of specification into consideration), but in relation to the BNP and the positive development within the market trends during the last 8 years, the figures show an important decrease within several sectors.
