Automatic monitoring of screen printing at tile glazing lines

Around a half of all defects caused during the production of glazed ceramic tiles can be attributed to the decorating process. The automatic monitoring of flat and rotary screen printing with a low-cost image processing system enables early detection of serial defects and avoids defective tiles continuing through the production process and taking up valuable capacities. With the use of the new colour image processing technologies and system concepts, the new CeraScreener System resolves this problem at a cost that can be quickly and easily redeemed.
