Germany: a leader in European stainless steel production--Part II of a profile on Germany

Germany is justifiably proud of its manufacturing tradition, but its stainless steel suppliers are not content to sit on their laurels. Germany is one of the leaders of European stainless steel production, thanks its varied production base, its dynamic markets (especially chemicals, power generation and household goods) and its booming exports. In this second part of our two-part survey of Germany, we introduce some at least of the representative players in the German stainless steel industry.
