Film-forming polymer improves colour cosmetics

National Starch Personal Care has added a new polymer called Dermacryl C to its line of natural and synthetic polymers. The product is a film-forming polymer for colour cosmetics application. Dermacryl C improves the longevity of wear for mascaras and eyeliners as well as eyeshadows and blushes. The product claims to reduce smudging and flaking and delivers water resistance in non-waterproof mascara systems.
