摘要

Worries about global warming and an unhealthy dependency on foreign oil have brought a rash of recent converts to the quest for sustainable energy alternatives. Yet, for more than a quarter-century, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) have been at the forefront, pioneering eco-friendly energy sources such as solar and wind, developing groundbreaking training programs and systems that are models of success — and proving how cost-effective they can be.
