The Ruby Duncan Elementary School is underway at 250 W. Rome Street in North Las Vegas. The Clark County School District contracted CORE Construction—Nevada for the 88,359-sq-ft school. Duncan Elementary is comprised of three single-story buildings -administrative, multipurpose and kindergarten - and a two-story academic building, all constructed from CMU block. The structures enclose a secure courtyard for outdoor learning. Plans include a parking lot, a fenced-off area for an attached "future" middle school site and on- and off-site improvements.
