Tuber rot caused by Phytophthora drechsleri is the serious problem affecting tapioca production under irrigated conditions (Sabitha Doraisamy and Rabindran, (3)). The infected plant does not show any external symptoms however, the tubers show brown discolouration of rotten internal tissues and exhibit foul smell. Hence an experiment was conducted at TCRS, Yethapur to study the effect of application of T. Virde Pseudomonas fluorescens and their combinations in the control of tuber rot along with fungicide treatments.
