摘要

A new 2-D layer copper vanadium phosphate [Cu(4,4'-bipy)(VO)(HPO_4)(H_2PO_4)]_2 (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine) 1 formed by the assemblage of two kind of 1-D chains has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized structurally. This compound was shown by single crystal structure analysis to be an unprecedented layer structure constructed from {Cu(4,4'-bipy)}_(2n)~(2n+) chains linked in the second dimension by the [(VO)(HPO_4)(H_2PO_4)]_(2n) chains. In the packing arrangement, the structure can be viewed as a 3-D supramolecular framework connected by the combination of coordination bonds, hydrogen bonds and PI-PI interactions as well as weakly coordinative interactions. Another considerable feature is that we can isolate two helices from the [(VO)(HPO_4)(H_2PO_4)_(2n)~(2n-) chain, respectively. Moreover, the two helices are both left-hand. Magnetic measurements indicate the existence of antiferromagnetic interactions in compound 1.
