New from Rexam is Crystal Transparency, a glass-like plastic claimed to offer startling clarity as well as cost and manufacturing efficiency. The material is available on all Rexam standard samplers including its Sof n'Touch, Mini-Mist and Sofistic's products. Crystal Transparency offers the aesthetic appeal of glass but is lighter, allowing for reduced transportation costs, and tough enough to reduce filling line breakage, according to the company.
