White Swan Options Ithingo Lake Property, Saskatchewan

White Swan Resources Inc., Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, has entered into an option agreement with Claude Resources Inc., giving the company the right to earn 65 percent interest in the Ithingo Lake gold property in northwestern Saskatchewan. The Ithingo Lake property, 230 km northwest to the town of LaRonge, consists of eight mineral deposits totaling about 11,000 acres. While gold was first noted in the area in the 1930s, exploration work was sporadic until the mid-1980s when Claude Resources acquired ground in the area and identified several gold zones. Subsequent work, most notably by Newmont Exploration of Canada, in 1988 and 1989 outlined four large areas of mineralization on the property containing not less than 13 separate gold zones. One of these areas and the major focus of exploration on the property was the main zone, originally found by Claude Resources.
