"With catalysis, out of the crisis"－this could be the headline of the 43rd Annual Meeting of the German Catalysis Researchers, said Prof. Walter Leitner (RWTH Aachen, Germany) in his opening speech at the aforementioned conference, held from March 10-12, 2010 in Weimar, Germany. 536 participants from industry and academia met and discussed the latest research results and future perspectives in the field of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis as well as in biocatalysis.
