On the Nilpotent Ranks of the Principal Factors of Order-preserving Transformation Semigroups

Both the ranks and the idemopotent ranks of the principal factors of the semigroup O_n of order-preserving selfmaps on X_n = {1, 2, …, n} were studied by Gomes and Howie [2], Garba [1]. In this paper we study the nilpotent ranks of the principal factors of the semigroup O_n.
