摘要

It is well known that ambient light reduces the contrast ratio. However binocular human perception is often better than expected by monocular measurements. We evaluated this by subjects and adapted the measurement set-up to binocular vision. Typical mobile displays were examined and we verified the binocular visual perception of small specular light sources.
