Single Inductor Dual Output Digital Controller for TFT Liquid Crystal Display Driver

摘要

A digital control scheme for single-inductor-dual-output (SIDO) regulator is shown. Amble of calculation power, in the deep-sub-micron Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) driver technology, enables maximum driving capability and efficiency to be achieved in a very constraint space. Operation frequency, on-time of switches, and dual output phase allocation are determined by a novel algorithm for the most robust and efficient control.
