Highly transparent optical films based on nanoscale polymer dispersed liquid crystals doped with InP/ZnS quantum dots are presented Optical transmittance is investigated with collimated laser and LED light sources. These films with enhanced light extraction may potentially serve as roll-to-roll coatable brightness enhancement films in emissive displays.
