A Study on the Relationships between Human Perception and the Physical Phenomenon of Speckle

Our study used the objective and subjective evaluation to show a practical quantitative measurement of speckle in relation to real usage. Speckle sensitivity was measured as a function of luminance, viewing distance and image content. We examined the relationships between human perception and the physical phenomenon of speckle.
