摘要

A prototype of system-on-glass (SOG) with a novel source driver circuit for electrophoretic displays is proposed. With A.C-common driving and boost circuit, we reduce the source driver to achieve the claim of slim boarder. Source drivers including data shift registers and two-stage latches were demonstrated in a-Si:H backplane with low mobility of 0.14 cm~2/V·sec. From measurement, output of the source driver is ± 15V in amplitude with 1μsec tr and 9 μ sec tf while the boarder is only 7mm for 110 μm pixel width.
