This work presents a new pixel circuit with a structure of four low-temperature polycrystalline-silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistors (TFTs) and one capacitor for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays. The proposed pixel circuit is capable of compensation for threshold voltage (V_(TH)) variations of driving TFT with only one scan signal in one step. Furthermore, the OLED is reverse-biased in programming step to avoid flicker phenomenon. The simulation results show that the current deviations caused by V_(TH) variations of TFTs are below 5%.
