We demonstrate an artificial retina using the p/i thin-film phototransistors and thin-film transistors. The illuminance detection is confirmed with sensitivity control. A kind of image-operation function, edge enhancement, is also integrated. This artificial retina is suitable for living bodies because it can be potentially fabricated on the harmless substrate.
