Effect of Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer (SLF on seed germination and productivity of some vegetable crops

In the present investigation, an attempt was made to study the effect of SLF from Gracilaria corticata and Hypnea valentiae on seed germination, growth and yield parameters such as number of leaves and weight of fruits in crop plants viz., Brinjal, Tomato and Chillies. The findings of the present study revealed that low level of SLF (1:4 and 1:6 cone.) enhanced the growth and yield compared to higher concentration (1:30 cone).
