First-ever CMS cabbage

Asgrow has introduced its Dynasty Line, the first set of CMS cabbage hybrids. Known for their extremely high hybridity, CMS (or cytomplasmic male sterile) cabbage hybrids offer significant improvement in field uniformity, higher yield potential and cost-efficient harvest, according to brassica product manager Tom McBride. This is due, in part, to the more reliable seed productions system that's possible with CMS.
