Harris Shredder (Peachtree City, Ga.), a division of Harris Waste ManagementGroup Inc, has sold two shredders: an HS 80115 unit to Penn Recycling Inc. (Williamsport, Pa.) and a complete HS 98115 shredder system to Silver Dollar Recycling L.L.C. (North Las Vegas, Nev.).The Penn Recycling shredder, expected to come online this August, features a Harris four-arm spider rotor, Harris-engineered and -built double-feed rolls, and high production drop-in front wall castings. The new shredder, which replaces an 80-104 Newell top-only discharge shredder mill, will run on Penn Recycling's existing 2,000-hp motor.
