SFP reports on the latest and greatest in processing equipment due for launch at Seafood Processing Europe next month. Organised jointly with the European Seafood Exposition, ESE/SPE is the largest gathering for the seafood industry worldwide and is set to take place from May 9-11 in Brussels, Belgium. More than 200 companies will exhibit in the processing hall, representing 22 countries - with five national and regional pavilions - and presenting everything from disinfectants, paneling and conveyorbelts to hi-tech cutting, cooking and packing technology. The largest sector represented will be primary processing equipment, accounting for over a third of exhibits. Secondary processing, refrigeration and freezing and transportation, logistics and coldstorage account for nearly equal shares of the remaining displays.
