Attendees at the 22nd annual Groundfish Forum in Vienna, Austria, in October were told wild white-fish harvests are expected to slip to just over 7.127 million metric tons in 2014, down slightly from the revised estimated 2013 catch figure of 7.2 million metric tons. The US/Canada pollock harvest is expected to stay the same in 2014 at 1.35 million metric tons. Russia's pollock catch is projected to dip slightly in 2014 to 1.6 million metric tons, from 1.66 million metric tons in 2013.
