New liaison office established in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar

On August 1, Sumitomo Corporation opened an office through Sumitomo Corporation Asia in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar. Sumitomo Corporation has been active in Myanmar since opening its Yangon office in 1954, participating in markets such as railway cars, construction machinery, automobiles, and basic chemicals. The Nay Pyi Taw office will be our second office in Myanmar.
