China’s Jiuquan Iron &Steel has kept its February high carbon ferrochromepurchasing price unchanged fromJanuary at Yuan 6,450/mt (equivalent to 79cents/lb), industry sources said Tuesday.The price settled between the stainlessmill and ferrochrome producers is for fullpayment via bank acceptance bill, andincluding 17% value-added tax and delivery.Jiuquan Steel officials could not be reached for comment.
