The transactable value of spot coking coal in Asia dipped further Wednesday as reasonably prompt Australian cargoes were heard offered at competitive prices, with the lowest numbers into China. Platts assessed premium low-volatile hard coking coal 1.50 dollars/mt lower at 145.50 dollars/mt FOB Queensland, and second-tier HCC 50 cents down to 130.50 dollars/mt.
