Brazilian domestic scrap prices for mixed and heavy melting scrap (HMS) haven't shown any movement this month, after increasing Real 50-100/mt (24-49 dollars) in late August. Scrap dealers are reporting good export demand and prices, but see stagnation in the domestic market: “Local mills are paying the same amount... but we expect higher prices for the next two months,” one said.
