The Atlantic spot coking coal market dropped further Friday as sources spoke of potential deals expected at lower prices, and overall sentiment was down. Platts assessed US low-vol hard coking coal down 2 dollars to 143 dollars/mt, high-vol A hard coking coal down 5 dollars to 128 dollars/mt and high-vol B also fell 5 dollars to 109 dollars/mt (all prices FOB East Coast).
