Iron ore swaps lost a little ground Thursday as sentiment weakened on lower rebar futures in Shanghai. The physical ore market was also quiet, with both The Steel Index and IODEX benchmarks unmoved. April traded at 144 dollars/dry mt during the Asian morning, while May was done at 140 dollars/dmt during the same period, both basis TSI. May-June traded at 139.25 dollars/ dmt, down from 141 dollars/dmt Wednesday, while Cal13 traded at 127.25 dollars/dmt.
