India-based Mercator Limitedannounced its exit from the dry bulk businessgiven the weak market, it said in a statement tothe Bombay Stock Exchange and National StockExchange in India Monday. The company has appointed a placementagent to identify a prospective investor orbuyer for its majority share of Singapore StockExchange listed arm Mercator Lines (Singapore)Ltd.(MLS), it said. MLS reported a loss after taxconsecutively for the past three-and-a-halffiscal years.
